The chain
Wind pushes surface water, and surface water carries plankton. Plankton collects against the downwind bank. Baitfish follow the plankton. Predators follow the baitfish.
That is the entire mechanism, and it repeats on every lake, every day there is wind.
Why nobody fishes it
Casting into wind is unpleasant. Boat control is harder. Waves slap the hull. So most anglers tuck into the calm bank, which is comfortable and usually empty.
How to fish it
Stained, churned water means the fish hunt by vibration and silhouette. Choose profile and thump over subtle colors. Keep the bait moving. Position so the wind holds you off the bank rather than pinning you against it.
